Opened just over a year ago, owners and lifelong friends Karen Page and Allison DeHonney seek to provide clients with what they describe as a “100% personal touch.”

Serving both salons and individual clients, they’ll meet you at your home or salon with samples. If a desired item is not in stock, they’ll order it free of charge and take the time to deliver it to you personally.

Along with the purchase, clients receive an information package providing details about the hair’s care and health, as well as hair product recommendations.

Boredom with the same old extension options combined with a passion for hair inspired Page, who studied beauty therapy at Bletchley College in England. She joined forces with DeHonney, a graduate of Medaille College who has an extensive background in insurance, sales and marketing — and a love for fashion and makeup — to create Luxurious Strands.

“We take a lot of pride in offering quality products,” said DeHonney. “Wherever we go, we always get compliments on the quality of the hair. It’s not mixed, it’s not synthetic, it’s not blended with anything — it’s 100% human hair, which will last.”
